#TheSkinProject - Moisturise

Hi Guys! Apologies that I missed last week's #TheSkinProject post, I don't use eye creams so I couldn't really comment however I will be rifling through everyone else's to get some good recommendations! If you'd like to know more about #TheSkinProject or to join in yourself just head over to Lianne's blog! This week it's all about moisturisers!

Although I've recently discovered that I have rather oily skin, It's still so important to moisturise your skin otherwise it will over compensate for itself and just produce more oil! The first picture is of Elemis Fresh Skin Softly Softly Moisturiser, this can take a while to sink in so I tend to use it more for no make up days or when my skin needs a real pick me up. It smells lovely and clinical and always keeps my skin hydrated right through until my evening skincare. In the middle we have No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream, this is still in use almost a year on (in the same pot!) as you need barely any of it, it's not quite as hydrating as my Elemis however it does sink in rather quickly so I use this underneath my make up for a work day. Finally is the Weleda Skin Food, I use this more on my hands than my face but it's perfect for after a really stressful day such as moving house etc as it's super hydrating and just makes my skin feel more like normal!

Nothing is more vital to your skincare routine than a good moisturiser, if you're going to invest in any product out of the lot I would suggest that it were a moisturiser. You don't want to be left with greasy residue, it to sink in fairly quickly, but still leave your skin smooth and hydrated all day which can sometimes be hard to find!
