Evening Skincare Routine

Last week I posted all about my Morning Skincare Routine and I don't really mix too much up from day to night so I will keep this post quite short and sweet! To me there is nothing better than curling up in bed at night with perfectly cleansed and cleaned skin ready for the day ahead. If I've taken the time to really pamper my skin at night then I can 100% tell in the morning and need to use far less makeup and take far less time so to me, the investment at night is always worth it! I can be a bit lazy and I often do fall asleep with a face full of makeup so I'm trying to make it a resolution of mine to stick to this routine every night.

To remove my Makeup first of all I always reach for my L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution, I have a few over Micellar Solutions that I want to try out but for now this one more than does the job. It removes every trace of my makeup with about 4 cotton pads and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and ready. If I'm feeling lazy then I'll admit I may skip out getting up to cleanse using my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser but boy does my skin thank me when I do! I think it just prepares me for the lotions and potions that I use next.

The first of those being the Avene Soothing Hydration Serum, my skin can often feel irritated after a day in the office so this really helps to calm it down and soothe it. If I've been upset at all then I will lather this on my face and by the morning and redness has completely gone! Next up is my infamous Elemis Pro Intense Lift Effect Night Cream, technically for anti-ageing but I've not found anything as luxurious or good for my skin so my Mum isn't getting her mits on this just yet!

Last up is my Clinique All About Eyes eye cream just to hydrate them overnight and lastly a jolly good helping of Vaseline on my lips to get them soft and smooth ready for the morning. I sometimes dab tea tree oil on my face if I have any spots or blemishes as I find that it clears them up super quick and gives my skin a little extra boost!
