Lord & Berry Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil

Lord & Berry Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil £10 - This was featured in a recent Birchbox of mine and as per usual I pushed it to the back of my drawer. Does anyone find that you get a lot of Lord & Berry products in beauty boxes? It's as if we don't have to actually go out and buy them ourselves as Glossybox & Birchbox will provide them for us. Not that I'm complaining. Eyeliners in a beauty box can be very hit or miss in terms of colour and wearability. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to colour on my eye so when this arrived in the shade "sand" I was extremely pleased. Although a little hard and stiff to apply that does mean that it stays put all day and just will not budge until asked to by my make-up remover. The colour is also beautiful, it's nice for me to finally step away from black with a beautiful bronzed brown colour that is still very cool in colour. I can't pull off a warm red toned brown, it just looks all wrong on me so this cooler shade it perfectly suited. As you can see from the swatch above it's also nice when it's blended out a little. I like to combine this with a Rimmel Scandeleyes Shadow Stick in my crease to easily create a soft smokey eye. I like Lord & Berry more and more every time they're featured in a beauty box, maybe one day I'll love them enough to purchase them directly?
