The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver by Sian Marie Beauty

Hello there;

Firstly let me introduce myself! I am Sian from Sian Marie Beauty, and the ever so lovely Becka asked out for some guest bloggers. I adore her blog, so I was all over the chance to be on here! I hope you like my post and don't be shy to come and say hello to me on mine :)

Sick of having dull skin? Let me introduce you to my little friend. The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver.

The Body Shop Skin Reviver Vitamin C
I brought this lil guy on a whim really. I had never seen it before nor read any reviews on it. It was going to go one way or the other.

Straight away you can't help but notice the packaging. It is so bright and colourful, really does stand out in your collection. This is great for me as it reminds me to use it. I would say I use this more as a primer for the skin before make up. It helps give your skin that little added extra, it has a glowing affect about it.

It does have a tiny bit of shimmer to it, which I couldn't pick up on my camera. So you need to trust me on this one. Nothing massive though, and once applied to your face you can't even see any shimmer. No disco ball face here.

The formulation of this is very silky. At first I thought I was smearing grease all over my face. But once the Skin Reviver has sunk into the skin you can just feel a smooth base for your make up to be applied too. Personally I have combination skin, and I have found that if your make up isn't set with a powder, then it will move about a little. But if you have normal/dry skin, this shouldn't be a problem. I would advise people with very oily skin to stay away from it.

I have found that it has a very distinct smell. Think Berocca. I don't find it offencive, its just a smell that seems a little strange to be going on my face, when I am used to drinking it.

Overall I really like this product and the added extra boost it gives my face. Wish they did a full body version of it!

Have you used the Skin Reviver?
What did you think?
