Stila Convertible Colour Lilium | Review

Stila Convertible Colour in "Lillium" £16 - Until I worked for Stila, I had only ever tried one cream blush which was an MUA offering and needless to say, wasn't particularly fantastic. As someone who likes quite a heavy base, I find it hard to apply a cream blush without moving and separating my foundation beneath. So when I was taught some nifty tricks from Stila's Pro Makeup Artist Sascha Jackson, it completely revolutionised my view of cream blushes and in particular, the Convertible Colour by Stila. Okay, okay, I work for them and therefore have a lot of time to play around and grow to love them. But the idea of having one compact for both your cheeks and lips is pretty nifty and both time and space saving... I don't wear them often on myself as personally, I don't actually wear blush, ever, but on customers and clients I like to use them to add a pinch of colour. Lillium is the perfect amount of flush to the cheeks whilst still looking natural and really pretty. The trick is to really warm up the product between your thumb and middle finger before applying with your ring finger, that way the product is warm enough to be easily manipulated and you don't have too much on your finger to have enough control. Will I purchase when this runs out? Quite possibly not but it will be considered for my Sister's wedding trial and I think that's testimony enough that I hold it in pretty high regard...
